The Sims Freeplay ~ Sleepwear Event Guide + Glossary of Pajamas

I feel like I'm always late to the party when it comes to these events, since I play PC Sims games far more and was taking a break from Freeplay recently. I'm not sure how many days are given to this event exactly, but when I began there were about 6 days left and 5 packs still to unlock x_x This is a timed event from EA, where the entire community is working on this as a secondary quest until the time expires.

Nevertheless, I love writing about the unlocks and making image glossaries of the prizes, so I hope this helps in some way.

The Sims Freeplay ~ Sleepwear Event Guide + Pajama Pictures

I have to say, this event was far more frustrating than the fashion design ones for Ringlets of Fire hair and Boutique Hair due to the single-sim modelling hobby. I don't think I'll be touching that hobby for a very long time after this...

What's the point of sleepwear? Basically, when Sims head to bed to sleep, they will change into their sleepwear (you and I both do this in real life, no?). There is also an option to change into sleepwear from a dresser and lounge around in your pajamas for the heck of it. Without the sleepwear from this event, Sims change into default underwear to sleep.

***You can only participate in this event if you've unlocked the Sunset Mall AND the modelling hobby.*** In order to unlock anything, at least one sim must have mastered the hobby. Annoyingly, only one Sim can work on this hobby at a time, and each action takes 3 hours and 15 minutes.

There are 5 packs; 1 per age group. To unlock one [random] pack, you must complete the entire modelling hobby once. To unlock all of the sleepwear, you must complete the entire modelling hobby 5 times (don't forget to reset in between!)

The Sleepwear Collection Glossary

*To change your Sim's sleepwear, go to a dresser, the mall, or the salon to change your Sims' appearance. A new category named Sleepwear will be present if you have unlocked the pack for that age group.

Although unlocking the sleepwear packs was a colossal chore at some points, I do think the sleepwear is well worth it, considering the packs are free (unless you bought LP to speed things up). The items are well designed and the pastel colours are great. For teens and adults, there is a lot more variety. I especially love the boots and slippers. The elder female pajamas look very similar to what my own grandmother wears ;)

Happy Simming as always,
Y
